Hunter Safety System - Safety Harness Vest

Anyone else have any trouble with the "zippers" on their Hunter Safety System Safety Vests? I bought the mesh version, paid $140.00 for the vest and after only 3 years, both zippers either dont work or came apart.

Like they say about mechanical things

Some break; some don't break. And some do it before their time.

And if you think you're absolutely safe with any mechanical device, you're kidding yourself. Flaws are part of mechanics.

REf: HSS Vest

For whatever it's worth, you might look into a Summit Seat-o-the-Pants safety harness - they are significantly lighter and less complex than the HSS, not to mention cheaper. No zippers, just a buckle system that works real well. Check out the reviews.

I've never had any problems.
