Over 300 Inches of Antler in 3 days!
2 Attachment(s)
One of my good friends just completely tagged out in Iowa this week. Shot these two bucks three days apart. He is by far one of the luckiest sons of a gun that I know for shooting big deer in a limited amount of time. He smacked a 140" beauty last year his second day in stand.
The first one was this last Sunday night during the early muzzleloader season. It taped out at 148". The second buck was taken yesterday evening with a bow, it had two kickers of the left G2 with a kicker off the brow as well and a solo kicker off the right G2 making the massy mainframe 10 into a 14 point, 158 inch monster. I should add that the bow kill was a public land buck. Enjoy! |
Yep I'd say he has a horseshoe up his butt. Very nice bucks though.

I dont remember a time i've been so jealous... and on public land?! thats crazy to say the least!
Congrats to your friend!!! |
You are right, he does have a rainbow following him this year. This year will be pretty hard to follow or beat.
Congrats to your friend, he is going to have a hefty taxidermy bill!! |

What a lucky guy, wish I had as much luck as he did!

Maybe he is just a really good hunter! He may pay attention to minor tid bits that get him success. That being said, with out knowing that the bucks were there to be had, maybe it all comes back to scouting during the summer. Looking at 1 pic does not tell you how much time a person put into hunting a buck!
He looks like a young guy, prob no kids, hunt as much as he wants.... WOW, WOULD I LOVE THAT MUCH TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! |
