sims or bowjax

posted this on the technical page but thought id do it here too.

i currently have sims products on my bow. limbsavers and leeches. the newer products just don't seem to silence my bow like the original sims stuff did. i have been thinking about bowjax equipment. anyone know which product is better? can't find much online that isn't biased because company reps are performing the tests. any help would be appreciated. thanks again.

I have the limbsavers on my DXT and they seem to help a little bit. The bow was quiet as it was but I figured the limsavers aren't expensive so what the heck.

Six in one, half a dozen in the other, as far as the silencing products go.

If your bow has been shot a lot, the problem might not be with the silencers. The more high-tech the bows, sights, rests, and other accessories are becoming, the more prone they are to have problems. Normal wear and tear, that is hardley noticible, can cause a surprising amount of noise. Therefore, your silencers might be working but your bow is just getting louder.

I have used both and the box jax last longer. The string leeches fell apart and my s-coil decenegraded after 5 years.
