Improved my accuracy, double anchoring.

Well I started to double anchor last week and already improved my accuracy. I have a kisser button and a peep sight on my Matthews Q2xl. I use my kisser button to anchor and I also anchor the string on the tip of my nose. Then my trigger finger hand anchors on my jaw/cheek bone. By anchoring this way I get a much more accurate release. I never really paid a whole lot of attention to anchoring to my jaw/cheek bone with my trigger finger hand, but since I started my groups have tightened up. How many of you double anchor? You should give it a try. Anchor that trigger finger hand to your jaw/cheek bone area.

Good advice Matthews. I have always had more than 1 anchor point, actually 3. By doing so I don' t need a peep sight for hunting.

I am the same as Cougar Mag - I have 3 solid anchors. No need for a peep.

I use a kisser, string to nose and a peep. Anything helps to maintain a consistent anchor.

I use a no-peep, a peep, a jaw, and a nose, but the one most helpful is the no-peep. If the no-peep is off then everything else is off. The jaw and tip of nose are not as definite as the peep and no-peep!

Peep, corner of mouth (Not a kisser, just the string), tip of nose. Knuckle just behind jaw (Chappy Boss)

HMMM well I have a peep, the fletching in the corner of my mouth, and my thumb on my jaw, I guess that makes three!:D

3 anchor points. 1 kisser touching right-front of lip, 1 kisser touching right nostril, draw-hand locked on jaw line. Fast to obtain, always the same, locks the head, and can see in panorama and low-light.

Why " peep" at your target when you can see it in clear and open view?

c903 I see the whole deer/target using my peep, I just line the target/deer up with the pins via the peep.
