Your KE isn't great, but it is adequate. HOWEVER, you MUST place the arrow in the vitals to ensure a good, short blood trail. Keep practicing your shooting and increase poundage as you are able . . . and keeping them accurate.

Not a good choice. Use a cut on contact style head like a magnus stinger. My son uses the stingers with the bleeders and gets passthroughs with 40#'s at 23" and 24" draw. He's at 25" this year but has yet to shoot a deer.


Imo ke is irrelevant for the most part. Well tuned bow with a foc head and the arrow will penetrate.
