I think that he needs to practice a little more and read a few threads. Poor position, poor placement, no tracking skills, etc. All joking aside, stealing really really makes me angry. I cannot see me drawing the bow but an altercation might be difficult to avoid.

If it was his property and properly posted I see no wrong doing. If he has kids I hope he teaches them not to steal and end up crippled like him. This all could have been avoided by not messing with something that don't belong to him. For everyone that thinks justice was not served, think of something you own that you would not want to part with. Now let someone come and steal it and reply back to this thread after you call the police and let them handle it to get your property back.

Especially in Arkansas or Texas where they have more tree stands than common sense.
Bottom line: Get they guy's plates and let law enforcement handle it. Stand recovered, bad guy gets the rap, and you don't go to jail for shooting someone in the back over a petty property crime (and you will, even in Texas, tough guy).
