Check out the most recent sale paper from Dicks. I know our local had several stands for under $100. I don't think you are going to get anything "nice" but you will get some that work. End of season sales is the best time to try and get a stand. I picked up a single seat ladder stand at Gander for $60 at the end of Nov. last year. Its just big enough for one person and does its job. Not the most comfortable thing I have sat in but its sturdy.

for cheep ground blind you can use a couple of T-Post, plastic wire ties and Camo Burlap to build a blind. You can customise the size and shape to fit. Or just watch the ad's in the paper for deals.

D icks is a great spot to get pretty good cheap stands. Right now they have a few good ones on sale. Sportsmans Guide also has some really cheap ones as well I saw the other say. I think a hang on and sticks were only $70, probably not the greatest in the world but would work. Take a look at D icks around January, they have some great stand sales around then. I got 8 last year at that time when they were buy one get one free.

The C store on the web has the Primos Big Game Escape Deluxe blind on sale for $99 plus 50 cent shipping. By far the best ground blind I have ever owned though I have not went with the more expensive ones like Double Bull. Big, roomy, lots of shooting windows and sturdy hubs and material. Also, rivers edge has their 13 foot high simple ladder stand designed to pack in for about $50 in most places. So long as you have decent cover, 13 feet is high enough for me in many of my spots. I had a dog house for a while and I'd pick one up if there was a deal but I felt confined shooting in them. Plus I like the hub style better than the steel spring. Good luck

I just get whatever cheap lock-on rural king has on sale. I have three of them out this year, and they were are less than $40. If you go this route get an extra rachet strap the straps that come with them are junk.

Hope this helps, BTW if you order from them enter or tell them you have a free shippping code. The code is sh774, your order must be at least $125 to use that one but it gives you free shipping which will probably save you about $20.
