Best early season stands?

Just wondering what set you guys love to hunt on opening day and early season? Food plots, ground blind, bedding area....etc. Thanks!

Things are not the same every where. In my neck of the world all those things are a stones through from each other. I setup where I can make the shot.

Maybe it's just me

But I never found deer make a reservation to make an appearance just where the hunter was waiting.
I think those thirty minutes hunters on TV make it seem like a normal occurrence.

I have bow hunted for about 10 yearsnow, and every year I have sat in an inside corner of a field, this year its corn, last year it was beans. My stand is in a strip of woods that is about 10 yards wide. Corn on one side, and CRP on the other.

Water sources, food sources, and if you have a good acorn crop that is nearby the water you should have it made.
