What Z7?

There are alot of different Z7's out there now and i just wanted to know if one of them is better than the rest.

i would go with the z7 extreme, it has the shortest axle to axle of them so it would work great for hunting in heavy cover or ground blinds. By looking at the z7s the main difference seems to be the axle to axle. just my opinion.

I just got the Z7 extreme and love it. Do to getting a little older I wanted to lower my poundage to save my shoulders some wear and tear. At full draw the Z7 does not want to yank your arm out of the socket if you relax just a bit like my PSE X force will. Plus, at $675 its a great value on a new bow.

I shot the extreme and the magnum and bought the magnum...I'm a speed freak and liked the extra 10fps but also with the extra 4" axle to axle the bow pulled back a lot easier and smoother than the extreme! JMO..

Ya, it crossed my mind to go that route but we have a few over sized box blinds that the extreme will work fine in. When I get the need for speed I'll grab my PSE.

I own the regular Z7 and am EXTREMELY satisfied. I don't have any complaints. Quiet, smooth, FAST, and not tough on the shoulders. The only problem I see with the extreme is that you can't record a buck in the Record book if you kill one. The bow is too short. Check the regulations on axle to axle length. We don't always think of that, but you may be lucky and kill a Record Book buck and won't be able to put it in the books.

That would be a very nice problem to have. I would be content with my 15 minutes of fame at the next dixie deer classic.
