Default How old is your bow?

Mathews SQ2 purchased in 2001, still going strong.

I'm having a hard time justifying a new bow purchase considering my SQ2 still does everything I ask of it.
That and new bow prices are crazy high.

I did recently purchase a new cam, but the total after set up was still a fraction of a new bow price.

So how often do you folks upgrade your stick & string?

What would make you upgrade?
Me, it would probably take a catastrophic failure for me to upgrade.

Funny you posted this. I have a High Country 4-Runner. It is about the same age as yours. I have been debating getting a new one but this on shoots pretty good.

Matthews Drenalin, bought when it first came out, I figure it's about 4 years old? Not really sure. I see almost no reason to replace it yet. It was a big improvement over my previous bow, but I don't see much out there now that's that much better than the Dren.

Well....I started in the late 60s with a recurve...Bought a Bear Whitetail in 1975 used this bow until 94-95 and bought a used Mountaineer...I'm still using it...

I shoot fingers and frankly there just aren't many good finger bows left so I'm keeping her until she or I wear out...

2005 Martin ShadowCat Magnum
2010 Rytera Alien Z
2011 Rytera Nemisis

The Alien Z is my favorite. That one sees 150-200 shots a week. All set to 47#.
