Wow. I was driving home last night around 9:30pm and the moon was super bright. about 1/2-3/4 mile from where I got those photos i spotted a HUGE buck feeding in a bean field about 15 yards off the road. I couldn't count points but he was extememly high, a quick guess was 8 pointer but what a beauty! I think that distance is close enough to me where I may get a chance when he starts chasing some does in November. Technically he was on the same piece of land, no road between him and where I will be hunting, just not on my property, no more than a 1/2 mile from the property line.
