turkey broadhead
any ideas for a sub 15$ apiece broadhead that will drop birds?

There's a couple of them out there. The Gobbler Guillotine by Arrow Dynamics, New Archery Products has the Spitfire Gobbler Getter and Magnus has the Bullhead.
I don't think any of them are 15 dollars or less a pack. |
rubber blunts and a head shot lol

I have always prefered a large cutting mech. These heads really shine when it comes to turkey thumpin'! Excellent choices would be NAP Gobbler Gettters, Rocket Hammerheads, Rage, and other large cutting heads. |
thx everyone! one final question, on youtube i hav seen alot of people shooting turkeys in the head with a arrow. is this needed?

Probably most of the head/neck shots are using either the Magnus Bullhead or the Guilliotine, both are head/neck shot only broadheads. Some people have a hard time getting them to fly good, because of the large 3" and 4" blades.
I agree with IL-cornfed, there are several mech. broadheads with 1.5" - 2" open diameter that are excellent choices for turkeys. |
Just use the same heads you have for deer.So called "special purpose turkey heads" is pure crap.
