Muzzy Mx-3 vs Standard Muzzy 3-Blade

Walmart just came out with their hunting stuff for this season and I noticed they didn't have the standard Muzzy 3-blade broadheads. All they had were the Mx-3's and Mx-4's. Never tried them before so I'm wondering, what's the difference??

shoot one into a 6X6X6 cedar block....if it stays in one piece and goes at least 1/2 way in, i'd say its ok...i would expect to see some bending, but not separation.

It's a shorter and slightly wider cutting version of the regular muzzy. They typically fly better than the standard heads do because of the reduced surface area of the blades.

They are Muzzy's answer to the short and wide broadhead craze that Slick Trick started about 10 or so years ago. The MX4 is almost an exact copy of the original slick trick magnum except that it's made from aluminum instead of steel.

Right on the money! either MX4 or Slick Trick Mags very true flying broadheads!

I shoot the muzzy mx3. they fly a little quieter, shoot just like a field tip out to 40 yrds. A little hissy in the air but o well. They make a cool mark inside rib cages on a pass threw shot, and leave a good blood trail.

I have used the old style 4 blade Muzzy for years and see no reason to change. They fly great and kill fast if I do my part.
