whats the difference in your point of impact

i was just wanddring what is the difference in your point of impact for your arrows when you move into your stand. if you are dead on while on the ground how much difference do you see when you move twenty feet or so up a tree.

i know that it will vary for each shooter depending of height and bow, but i was just curious.

i am pulling 65#s shooting a little over 250fps and mine are high by about an inch to inch1/2:)

My point of impact doesn' t change unless the target is directly under me. I spent alot of time perfecting form before I got target panic and I always keep the upper part of my body the same, no matter what the shot. With a good harness, you can dang near walk up the tree and stand horizontally. :D

Now, if the target is directly below me, I use my 30 yard pin, instead of 20 yard (I don' t have a 10 yard pin). Reason is, using my 30 yard pin causes me to move the arrow more in line with the target. The distance between the arrow, and the sight.

Good luck and practice, practice, practice.

Zero fast bow, but the main reason bend at the waist. If you don' t you' ll change your draw length and it will cause the arrow to generally go high! Practice drawing level and then bending at the waist to pick up the target vs. pickup the target then draw.

If your form is correct(bend at the waist etc) it shouldn' t be different enough to notice. That said, you should practice from above to work on it, everything from straight down out to you max range.
