i got my mathews fx for x-mas and i love it. it is so fast that i had to buy a better 3d target cause it shoots all the way through it. mine was only $400, but that is cheap to what the other mathews cost.

I have a Q2 and I just love it. A FX would be a good bow for a beginer. I would recomend going to a pro shop and shooting a couple diferent bows so you can find one that you are comfortable with. the FX go for about 450$ up here in Mn.

I almost forgot, I do have one problem with this bow. The paint wears off pretty easy. Moonge, If you keep on bugging Mathews about it they will give it a new paint job. I havent sent mine in yet but I plan on it soon. Besides this I have no complaints. It shoots good, its pretty quiet, very light and fast. Its a bow thats worth the money.
