Martin Prowler?

What do you guys (and gals?) think of this bow?

RE: Martin Prowler?

I love it, I' ve had mine for 3 1/2 weeks and it' s great. For $380 I don' t think you can find a better bow and it shoots as good as any $700 bow if it fits you well. It' s quiet and forgiving and mine tuned so quick I couldn' t believe it. Squared and center shot it and was shooting bullet holes. The Martin factory strings are as good as any replacement string out there, they will stretch a little but mine didn' t move after about 50 shots. I gave up 10 fps from my last bow but this thing is so smooth and forgiving I haven' t missed it even on the 3-D course. For the money I think this is one of the best hunting bows out there, if you' re a hard core 3-D shooter you may want something with a little more speed but for mainly hunting and a little 3-D I think you' ll have to look hard to find a better value. By the way I don' t sell them or work for Martin I just think you pay for too much marketing with other brands even though they' re good bows too.

I' ve never tried the Prowler, but I just bought a 2003 Martin Phantom II this last spring. And I love it! It is sooo smooth thru the draw and light so it' s easy to hold out at arm' s length. And your right about the price. I only paid $379.00 for it! With Martin' s lifetime warranty, you can' t go wrong.
