Why didn’t his arrow penetrate further? Is that common in moose hunting or was his arrow just dull? Bet it took a while for that bull to die?

To get good penetration at a very close distance, one must have an extremely well tuned bow and even then an arrow has not had time to stabilize so penetration can be greatly affected.



Plus this is not a deer, it is a much tougher animal that is much tougher to penetrate.

10 to 1 says he got lungs on that shot. Some of you act like this Is a chip shot. That bull was pissed. I would've been ****ting my pants!!

up close and personal , what maybe 2 yards , not a "chip shot" by any means the shooter has major skills , being 2 yards from a couple thousand pounds of pissed moose and making that shot through that thick brush is very difficult
