Predator Users....
 

I think i finally have enough money saved up that i can buy some predator camo clothing. I am thinking about getting the Unlined jacket and the lined bibs for the late season. I am just not sure of the color. I was pretty set on Fall Gray but thinking now i am not %100. I have one property that is for sure %90 tree stand hunting that Fall Gray would work very well...I have seen a few deer but nothing big. The thing i have been thinking about and the problem is the other property. It is about %60 Pine trees and has a lot of bucks and a few big ones. I was thinking that if i wore the Fall Gray in the pines that i would stick out like a sore thumb.(A green back ground with a gray dot is obvious). Since it is %60 pines i will obviously have to be on the ground,instead of in a stand. Any options about color selection would be helpful!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't colors show up as different shades of grey to deer anyway? I was always taught your outline is more important than what color you wear.

honestly,...you can use your deer hunting camo, or go buy some military surplus camo. usually when i predator hunt, i camoflage myself in by sitting in tall grasses, evergreens, terraces, etc. no need to spend money on fancy realtree, ao, mossy oak, breakup, vertigo, etc camo when you can simply wear a pattern you most likely already have, and be just as effective. Just dont sit on a snowy hill with a ton of camo on. On snowy days, brush youself in to a grassy terrace or evergreen draw. Spend your money on other things that will make your hunting mor effective, calls, electroni calls, predator specific rifle, etc....

I love Fall Grey - perfect balance of white & darks IMHO. I wouldn't worry about sticking out in the pines since usually thick pine forest is so dark that your camo isn't really even illuminated. I hunt pines a lot in my fall grey heater body suit and I've never been picked off.
