Carbon Element

I have been out of the game for a while, but just bought a new Hoyt Carbon Element yesterday. Caleb got it all set up and I was back to grouping inside a pie plate in only a dozen or so arrows. Loving the feel and performance already. The bow does its part, now all I have to do is mine!

I am going to take some tonight, because the ones I get off the internet kinda suck. I am not sure I can do better but it is worth a try and then I have to figure out how to upload here, so keep checking back!

Nice rig. I will never understand why hoyt don't go with some nice wood sideplates on their bows. Atleast put them on their two carbon bows with the prices they ask for them. A buddy of mine has one of the older hoyts with the side plates which is to me is a lot nicer then the plastic grip with the deer skull and horns on it.

But again, nice rig and happy shooting. Goodluck this elk season.

You can get several different grips if you want. You just have to specify when ordering but a far as functional grip, the rubber 180 grip I'd hard to beat.

I am not typically a Hoyt fan but that is a sweet bow!!

I'd be interested to hear what accessories you've put on it so far or are planning on?

It is very light, and remarkably well balanced.

As far as accessories! I am budgeting while I decide. I am open for any suggestions. I have run about 250 arrows through it so far. I am really getting myself settled in to the bow. I am attaching pictures of my final groups from the last two nights.

Right now I am shooting without a stabilizer, I dont think it will take much if anything to get it in tune. I am running with a Carolina Whisker Bisket, and a cheap $25 three pin sight. I have not hard tied my peep sight yet, I will do that in a couple weeks when I decide what sight I want on it. I put a kisser button on, but that is it.
