27" carbon arrows

In your opinon what would the perfect weight be for a 27" carbon arrow 100gr
head,60#,28 1/2 draw? The reason I ask , my arrows weigh 386.3 with vanes
but there at the shop getting fletched with feathers as I write this. I dont know what the weight will be but they should be lighter. These will be used for deer
hunting. Oh yea shooting cam 1/2 zr 200 limbs.

The perfect weight opinions are like belly-buttons - everybody has one:D

You should be a good 20 grns lighter with feathers - 365 grn or so.

with the proper head this weight IMO should do fine for deer. A little light but fine:)

RE: 27" carbon arrows

I' ve been shooting the Easton Epics, and now I see they have a new carbon out called the Buckeye. Its suppose to be a little heavier carbon, and same shaft as the evolution w/o the camo. Evolution is easton' s heaviest carbon. I' m planning on picking up a doz of the buckeyes strictly for hunting, and use my epics for 3d' s. I' d rather have the extra grains for deer. I shoot a 26 1/2" arrow myself!
