How fast is your bow shooting?

RE: How fast is your bow shooting?
70#/30" Patriot Dually
Leeches,loop,Tru-Peep
375gr arrow = 319fps.
Not gonna hunt with it THAT fast tho........that would just be silly
My hunting shafts weigh just about 415grs, and I' m knocking the draw weight back to about 64-65# So I should be looking at about 295fps +/-.

Lets see, last time I looked-
Bowtec Mighty Mite 29.5" draw, 64# pull 438 grain arrow at 262fps= 67ft-lbs KE
Mathews z-light ~29" draw 67# pull 435 grain arrow at 252 fps = 61 ft-lbs KE
Reflex extreme- 67# 29" draw 428 grain arrow at 255 fps = 62 ft-lbs KE
I will bump the MM up a little in the near future and see what I can get at 67#

Hunting-Renegade Alpha I,360gr,60#,30" ,260fps
3D-Renegade Tominator II,332gr,65#,30" ,300fps, this is a temporary 3D set up until I decide what I' m going to buy for 3Ds. Narrowed the bow choices down to a Pro 40 dually, Q2XL,Ultratec, or what ever Parker makes for the new year.

RE: How fast is your bow shooting?
If speed is the most important thing to you, you can achieve super speeds by shooting an ultra light, under sized arrow. I' ve seen some folks scratch that 400 fps. Course I' m not one of those people. I only shoot a comfortable 55 pounds and my carbon arrow weights 490 grains. I' m shooting at 230 fps right now. But as I stated earlier, if I wanted I could crank my bow up another 7 pounds or so, (my Legacy tops out at about 63#), go down in arrow size and dramatically increase my speed.
My point is, shoot a reasonable arrow at a reasonable speed and hit the sweet spot!
