RE: Toxonics dampner pendulum (sniper)

Yes I own one and yes its accurate and quite. I like mine because of the big sight window and the fix ground pins. When I look trough the peep to the sight both line up for better accuracy-circle within a circl. The pindulum pin is my 2oyrd ground pin and my tree stand pin, mine is good to about 35yrds ( this depends what fps is)
My next pin is 30yrd ground 40yrd in tree. My 3rd pin is 40yrd ground. hope I help.

Thanks bullsi,

I was just trying to get a feel for the distance one could accurately shoot a one pin pendulum. I keep hearing about fast bows being able to range out farther. I would consider 285 fps fast for a hunting set up.

When you say " about" 35 yards, does that mean you can hold right on at that distance?

Sight it in on the ground first, then you should be good to go from your treestand. Let us know what the results are.

Its dead on at 35yrds I can raise it a little to get 40 or use the next bottom pin.You can allso put a fix just above the pindulum pin for less than 10yds or right below u on the tree stand.I first sight in on ground at 20 yrds but some times I do have to raise the pin just a little from the tree stand. Make sure you sight in from above before you hit the woods.
