Oh Hell No! And to do it with out being attached to anything. Idiot.

bigcountryextreme 01-19-2011 07:53 AM

I have known some of these riggers, and they are about crazy. The older I get, the more I have to use a safety vest.

dennismeyers333 01-19-2011 09:55 AM

Wow those guys got some balls!! I'm not afraid of heights but that's crazy!

my7pointmonster 01-19-2011 10:34 AM

How do you like the part where he says "here's the tricky part" OHh yeah you're right the last 1733 Feet was a cake walk. You're right. Thats one of those things where if you fall, You've got a long damn time to think about what you just had happen to you.

Ryan.

halfbakedi420 01-19-2011 11:03 AM

I think I'd try it, BUT, I'd do it differently. I'd be hooking on each step.

Ryan.

Just think, 10 yards from the bottom of the tower is still a ten yard shot...lol. If you can see your target.

pearsontx4 01-20-2011 02:45 AM

i was nervous for that guy. i would like to try that someday but like posted above it wouldn't be free climbing if i ever did. i use to always hunt with out a safety vest and sit anywhere from 16 to 30 feet up i dont know what changed but two years ago i decided to get a vest and now i wont get in a tree without one.

Now, I'm going to save that for repeated viewing

The Video they should send customers when they complain about their cell phone or cable tv bill. Amazing how small those cameras have gotten.

Notice the nice watch the climber had.

I climbed at shorter heights without safety harnesses; but more than enough to kill you. Now I only get to climb on roofs of my house and tree stands.

LKNCHOPPERS 01-22-2011 12:48 PM

I think I'll pass on that job but that was a cool video. They put a lot of faith in those climbing steps and some of those metal parts.
