Default Your opinion on age and score?

Okay... so tell me what you think this buck scored and guess it's age.

I spotted it's remains while going to look for a buck I shot. (sadly, my buck fell in the river when it died and has not been recovered )
A hunter on the neighboring property said he shot it so it was returned to him.

In certain pictures he looks bigger then this but I'll say 165 Inches. Man he's big!! As far as age, haven't a clue from the pics.

as far as the age, toss 10 pennies in the air, count up the ones that land heads up, there is the age...
160-170 i'd say...
dare we start commenting on why the guy never found him.
and if ya could, ask what cal he was using?

Halfbaked, I don't know what he was shooting... other than a shotgun or muzzleloader.

As far as age, some people think they can use the antler mass and size of the antler bases to help age bucks.

Schultzy, pics and angles can be deceiving so that's why I put a several up. The one thing that the pics don't seem to show real well is the mass. The buck had some really good mass. I think the photos kind of short his beam length a bit too.
