Default Summit Tree stands?

My friend is selling his Summit Viper SS for $125-$150. i have heard summit makes good climbers. i went on a few websites to see what the retail price is. its about $240. i didnt look at any reviews so that why im hear. Any input on Summit stands would be appreciated!

Great stands,I have the Viper also and am well pleased. How old is the stand?Did he leave it out in the weather for any length of time?Look at the welds real good.If all that is good the price is okay in my opinion.

2 years old and he used it all of one time! its been sitting in his attic the rest of the time. he doesnt get out much

Just get it. Great stands and the price is very reasonable. FYI, most places you will find them at $260 or so.
