Game cameras

I think that when the flash goes off at night it would scare the bucks from coming back is this true or not

RE: Game cameras

I am not sure...I just got a Deercam and have one roll of film back. The setting as 15 seconds, so I got several pics of each deer that crossed. Some of them seem puzzled/nervious. This could be the flash...don' t know.

What I DID notice is that they are very focused on where I walked!! I had rubber boots on when I set up the cam...I walked in front of it to test it...I got the pic back of me walking in front of it...and one hour later, a doe was caught on film smelling the very same spot that I was in. I got several more pics like that for 3 days after the setup.

Be interested to see if flash spooks them as much as scent...:)

My first roll I had developed from my cam, were mostly night pics. I had pics of deer looking in the direction of the camera, and their eyes were lite up. Pics followed that same night of more deer. Most were within 10yds of it.
