Tree Stand Question!

I am 6'3, 260 and am looking to purchase my first climber. I definately want something with a large seat and platform. I'd like to be as comfortable as possible. What does everyone prefer? Any suggestions will help! Thanks

Cougar Claw bubba prowler with leveling system. The cables are squared at the ends so you aren't fumbling around in the dark looking for the hole and you can level the stand as you climb. The platform has a built in foot rest that flips out. The seat is tall enough to cover your entire back against the tree. It's large enough that you can hunt facing the tree or facing away from the tree.

I'm 6'2" and weigh 275 pounds and absolutely love my Cougar Claw.

As a bonus they are 100% made in the USA... every single part and they are rock solid. They aren't just assembled in the USA like some other well known companies.

Ha ha. I know right????

I have used Summit, Ol Man, API, Warren Sweat, Loggy Bayou, and various "inexpensive" climbers over the years and the Cougar Claws are tops. The owner, Donnie Paul (the guy in the pictures) is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. Really top notch person and stand.

Oh, BTW, it packs up with the cables (the heavy end) at the bottom so it isn't top heavy when you are walking around the woods in the dark and the cables aren't snagging on every branch you have to go under.

Check out the Tree Lounge, I have owned alot of different climbers and this one by far is the most comfortable one I have ever used. Goes for about $400, but worth it.

check out these sites,

Be sure to check out the Equalizer as well as the Couger Claw. IMO it is equal to if not a touch above the CC.

I'm not a Big Climber fan personally but many in this area swear by the Treewalker climbers.

Add the Summit Goliath to your list. Summit has been around too long to be ignored.

I am the same height as you and used to be the same weight and I found the Summit Titan to be perfect for my needs.
