For those who don't use a mounted quiver

I just got a new bow and do not like having a mounted bow quiver. It makes the bow heavier for stalks and I do not shoot well with it on. What do you guys use in place of a mounted bow quiver?

I just put the quiver on the side of pack, it has two pockets for waterbottles. I put the one end in it and use the clip straps that expands the pack to hold it

Cat Quiver

I have used a Cat Quiver, great for everything but Treestands IMO. In a Tree I either shoot with the quiver on or hang it in the tree. :)

I use a Cat Quiver. In the tree, I screw in a step and hang it over my backpack.

when I hunt with my longbow I wear my safari tuff back quiver

Well i guess im cheaper that most, i have a cheap bohning quiver and an old backpack that i use to carry my stuff in and all i did was glue the mount to the quiver to my pack and pack it in that way.

Sidewinder

I use a sidewinder quiver adapter. That way I can either wear it on my belt, attach it to my pack, attach it to just about anything. Very versatile and canbe used with any quiver.

Great recommendations guys. I have been looking at some of the Cat quivers. Since the fletching end of the arrow is covered up how easy is it to pull out an arrow without taking the quiver off your back?

I carry a bungee cord in the pack and strap it to the tree...no problems at all
