Before you throw out the Christmas tree..

cut off a few branches to place in your hunting clotes for scent control.

Thats a great idea if you hunt around pine trees. But there are none around where I hunt.

Our tree is getting so dried out, . . .

the government's about to declare it an incendiary device.

Might make your clothes smell better to you but will do nothing to fool a deer.

Not many pines where I hunt. I have always strived to keep everything I take in the woods including my clothes as scent free as possible so I don't add any scent at all.

IMO any scent concentrated more than normal will cause a deer to just point you like a bird dog through their normally curious nature :)

X2. No scent is much better than somthing uncommon to the area.
