SneakyLeaf by Quality Archery Design???
Has anyone used this product and if so how much noise do they create and are they worth even giving a try.
Looks like it would be a simple product to use, and effective at breaking up your outline. Thanks ahead of time for your reply' s. http://www.qadinc.com/sneaky-leaf.htm |
RE: SneakyLeaf by Quality Archery Design???
HAHAHA!!!! I' ve never tried that product but I did go to the arts and crafts section one of Wal-Mart and buy something similar to that. Then I zip tied it to my treestands. It was a real pain and I didn' t realize that the leaves came off (which they did) so the whole experiment was a disaster. I imagine if they stay together they would work fairly well. I wouldn' t use them on my person, just on my treestand and maybe my bow.

RE: SneakyLeaf by Quality Archery Design???
I' ve used them for several years, attached to
a Army surplus net I throw over my Double Blind, while set up on waterholes out west. Two leaves are attached to one stem, I believe there are 50 pairs in a set. A small black safety pin and a piece of two sided tape is included with each pair. I' ve never used the tape, so I can' t comment on how it holds. The leaves, however, do just what they' re supposed to.. ...break up a outline. The material they are made from is very quiet. |

RE: SneakyLeaf by Quality Archery Design???
This will be my 3rd year using them. In the spring, I use them somewhat heavily to break up my outline and have had friends who were hunting nearby and knew where I was walk right next to me and call out my name.
In the fall, I' m bowhunting from a trees and use fewer leaves with great success. They' re very quiet and do the job they' re called upon to perform, but the do break and/or come off easier than I feel they should. I' m gonna keep using them. |
