Hi, does anyone here hunt Canadian Geese? What kind of Broadhead or tip do you use? Any pa hunters know any special licenses I would need as well as daily/yearly limits? The pa game commission site is confusing me on that matter. I hate the little bastards, they break duck eggs around here and drive the adults away.

They are destructive critters, ain't they. Wish they'd learn to migrate the way they're supposed to.

Anyway, I've never hunted them, but if I did I'd probably settle for the same equipment I hunt turkeys with. That meaning a fairly low poundage bow with light arrows pushing a large cut mechanical head. Penetration isn't something I'd get too concerned about.

Thanks, it appears, from the PGC site the bag limit is 8 per day holding 16, but does that mean i'm only ever allowed to get 16 or just have 16 at my residence/car/on me at one time?

I never have hunted them either but if given the chance I'd use my normal Turkey setup :)

You got it. 8/day and 16 in your possession at one time, meaning residence, car, freezer or where else you want to stash them.
