RE: Savage- Nighthawk tritium Vs Fiber glo??

I talked to them once and corresponded with them via E-mail.
That' s where I was told the supermax tritium night hawk was $94.**. plus the second pin at $6.95 plus shipping would put me at $108.
$97.20 with the 10% off, looking better!!

Still looks a lot like $100 for a stinking sight!![:o]), How complicated has my life become, I just remembered my first sight - 3 adjustable pins, 3 slots on a chunk of metal for ~$10.99;).

RE: Savage- Nighthawk tritium Vs Fiber glo??

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered a Savage Supermax Nighthawk tritium equipped pendulum sight. I called savage to see about their 10% off and she said I could get the discount even if I placed my ordered over the phone. It was a good thing I called because the nighthawk pins are on back order. She said aomething about getting a license from the nuclear regulatory commision, but they were still waiting on some paperwork from the state??

So I hung up and ordered the same sight from Cabelas, who evidently received a large amount the last time Savege got ahold of some tritium.

Not completely satisfied I called savage back and ordered the dually fiber optic pin they assured me would mount into the Supermax' s pendulum swing.
So it was ~$115.00 altogether.
I lot of money IMHO, but I' m tired of asking myself " what if?"
