I have always liked the Hoyts and I currently shoot the Carbon Matrix '10 model. I shot the Element and feels like a good upgrade to me. Is it worth the money? Was the Matrix?

I was shooting a Martin Firecat in 1988 that killed deer just the same.

The Big ?...Is it worth the Money.......
Thats why I never bought the Z7,not enough differance for me from the Drenlin but now its going on 4 yrs old figured why not upgrade to a newer bow and differant Brand, been a Mathews shooter just about 10 yrs now and before that it was the old Browning and started with a Whitetail in 83..........

I have a few buddies who shoot the X7 - they are obviously Matthews guys. I buy the top of the line because I just do. Not because of the value of performance per dollar. My girly shots a Hoyt Power Hawk or some other $300-$400 model and it shoots awesome too.

I have buddies who shoot the Destroyer - great bow. I have an Admiral that is wonderful.

A bow is a bow is a bow. If you're looking for a less expensive upgrade check into a Alpha Max from last year. Great bow - short money.
