happends to everyone who bow hunts long enough! Sounds like you were not high enough up the tree or did not have enough cover. I bow hunt minimum of 20ft and will not hunt on the side of a tree that looks like I am on a telephone pole. This is from lessons learned being busted too many times early in my bow hunting days.
