Stupid question from archery newbie.
I have been hunting deer for years but I recently bought a new bow and plan on hungint with it next year. I used to shoot archery a lot as a kid with an old Darton bow. The new bow i got came with a drop away arrow rest. Does it matter how the arrow is nocked with a drop away rest? On my old darton the odd color fletch always went out away from the bow.
I was hoping to get out this year but with two young kids I haven't got to shoot more then 20 arrows through the bow (those were at the archery shop after I bought it). |
Odd vain up.

I've always wondered about that.
But~Does anyone know how to nock an arrow with the **** vane on the side? Left or Right? |
they make a little tool to turn your knock if they get twisted...just turn it and line it up...simple as that

i always thought the odd vane was to point towards you. so left if you are a righty and vice versa.

odd vane up and most arrows don't need a tool to adjust it anymore. just turn it.

Odd vane goes up. You can spray some foot spray on your vanes to see if your getting any cantact with rest.
