Default Stupid question from archery newbie.

I have been hunting deer for years but I recently bought a new bow and plan on hungint with it next year. I used to shoot archery a lot as a kid with an old Darton bow. The new bow i got came with a drop away arrow rest. Does it matter how the arrow is nocked with a drop away rest? On my old darton the odd color fletch always went out away from the bow.
I was hoping to get out this year but with two young kids I haven't got to shoot more then 20 arrows through the bow (those were at the archery shop after I bought it).

they make a little tool to turn your knock if they get twisted...just turn it and line it up...simple as that

odd vane up and most arrows don't need a tool to adjust it anymore. just turn it.

If you have fixed rest then most of the time your right. Depends on the rest. Fall aways rests, they go up

Odd vane goes up. You can spray some foot spray on your vanes to see if your getting any cantact with rest.
