Z7 setup?

What all do you have set up for sights? I mean like a 10,20,30,40 pin? 1 pin, 2 pin? I currently have a 3 pin. Thinking about have a 25 yard , 40 and 50 yard? Any suggestions? Thanks

I have redhead sight, 20,30,40,50,60... the bow is so fast they are all five on top of each other...

i have a single pin HHA sight and love it. switched from a multipin to it cause of all the clutter. if you are thinking about getting a single pin sight then get an hha. if your happy with 3 pin sight then yea i would have my first pin at 25. you will be good out to 30 yards with it with about only an inch of drop at 30 yards and maybe shooting an inch high at 15 and 20 yards. i think there would be too great of a differnce tho if you set your second pin to 40 yards i would set it at around 35 and your last pin i would set around 45 yards.

I use a 3 pin on my Drenelin, 10, 20 and 40 yard. Its a good idea to have a 10 yard pin because in the heat of the moment its easy to forget how to aim with your 20 when there that close

I have 1 adjustable pin on my Z7. It's the best of both worlds all of the settings of multiple pins but only 1 pin in your sight window.

That bow is fast. I think you may need to find out how many yards you can go back before the arrow starts dropping. You may be able to back as far as 40 yards. I would suspect it is close to 30 yards...then I would set my pins in 10 yard increments from there. I think you will be looking at 30 / 40 / 50 with a 3 pin setup.

Just remember that you may need to adjust slightly inside of 30 yards. Lots of practice shooting will help you figure out what you need to do.

Check out the G5 Optix XR2.

One fixed pin and one adjustible pin. You get the best of both worlds. Set the fixed pin at 20 (or whatever yardage you choose) and dial the floating pin in for longer shots.

The only downside to this sight, IMO, is the price. About $200.

I dont have the z7 but my dxt i use 2 pins .... dead on 25 yards .. hold an inch high at 30-35 yards and second pin is 40... this is for hunting ... i would use the adjustable single pin models if i shot in a league.
