Thanks for everyones input. HUNTERS are great!!
I want to thank all the hunters that were honest with there opinions. Our company Realrattle.com voted and after everyones feed back we lowered the price to $59.99 for a set of real antlers. We won't make much off the antler products, but we are hoping when we launch our new clothing line next month it keep hunters interested in us.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!! Deer Bobby Bow - Destroyer 350 Arrows - Carbon Express Mayhem Broadhead - Mayhem EXT Sight and Rest - G5 Antlers for rattling - RealRattle Uniform - Scent Lok |
I would pay 30-40 bucks. $79 seems too high.
|
It's going to be tough to compete with what collectors are paying for antlers. In the area's I hunt I use a pair of sheds off a buck that would have scored 150 or better. I know most guys that are after mature bucks prefer that size antlers for rattling. What size antlers are you selling? For the size I use, there selling for $100-$175 a set on ebay. Lot of variables in pricing real antlers.............
|
They weigh about 2 pounds for the set and the range is 8 to 10 points before we cut off the G1's. Will you check it out on realrattle.com and let me know what you think.
THANKS for your help!!! |
Web site looks really good and I think your price is very fair. What does each antler score? 60" or better? How have sales been? If I didn't pick up my own sheds in Iowa, I would buy a set.
|
Thanks PY ANTLERS, I will check with our QC guy to see what the avg score is.
Thanks again for the input, it helps out a lot!! |
don't know if this would apply to you or not, but have read a few stories of people getting caught selling mounts and finding out its illegal. Don't know if just the antlers would apply to this law or not.
Just something that popped into my head while reading your first post. I have read several stories of people just selling mounts to get some money for them when in hard times only to find out its a no-no. |
Thanks for your concern. All of our antlers are sheds. Shed antlers are different, most states consider them “forest debris” and have no laws for buying and selling. .
|
Well considering other than gas and some string you have nothing in the antlers I would say that the price is a little high. But that's just my opinion.

website is very cool!
