I agree with 2eagles, Late October is usually good in iowa where i hunt, the deer are in the chase phase of the rut and you are more apt to see deer. Around november 15 is probably about the peak of the rut, but like 2eagles said, the bucks are with certain does, and dont move around as much. Early can be good too. Season starts Oct. 1st, On Oct. 15 , i sat in the stand for 12 minutes and shot a 140 class 10 pointer. Also, if u can find a good feeding area, such as standing corn, then late season should be good.
