Making everyone mad?
 

I have received a private message stating I need to stop posting on the forums because I am enraging all the members,I am not sure if it is a moderator or not,am I enraging everyone?

I think there are allot of people still ticked off over that poaching post of yours. You hit allot of nerves of good honest people in here. That will be a hard one to dig out of.....

One private message doesn't quite mean everyone is PO'd. Heck, I would post their name and exactly what they said.....lol.

Though I don't agree with some of the things you say, I wouldn't say you enrage me. Frustrate me at times... but not enrage. It's the internet and we all have a say, so don't worry about it.

i can tell you what was said since i am the one that sent the pm.

i said that, with no offense, i thought he should take some time away because of the poaching thread.

i beleive that what blackhawk did was not right and the way he handled himself after he started his thread was cowardly.

i know that it angered a lot of people who love our sport and i felt that, in the best interest of blackhawk, he ought to take a little while off, because, personally, every time i saw his name i thought back to the poaching thread and it bothered me, and i believe that there are others who could agree with this.

Hell a lot of people frustrate me on here, but that's life. What he did was wrong but from what he said, the problem was dealt with by the land owner. Next time thou bud, either tell on the person or don't mention anything about it. People like happy endings.

If there is one thing I learned.......is it takes years to build trust and seconds to destroy it. I think of the poaching thread also when I see your avatar. Change your pic and lay low, when you come back hopefully people would have forgotten.

I'm having trouble finding the poaching thread. Someone help me out?

Or just create a new user name. But whatever. I don't hold it against him. Its his business. Who am i to judge his actions when im not perfect either? People just need to suck back their tears and move on. Just saying.

It's an online forum and we NEED an open honest exchange of ideas. I'm sure slot of people don't agree with everything I post but that's up to them. I think most of what you say is B.S. but you are welcome to feel the same way about me however, you have as much right to be here as I or anyone else does. If we all agreed it would be a boring place.

He just didnt want to turn a freind in, now im not condoning it but ill be damed if someone i knows family goes hungery just beacause. If that means someone wacking a deer so be it. oh go to a pantry do this or do that. Ok thats one way and should be the way , but somtimes people need more maybe if you had come from a situation(not saying you didnt i dont know you) where shooting a deer ment going hungery or not being hungery and you had to watch your family go hungery youd be signing a differnt tune, now i know ill get alot of BS over this post but so be it.

i understand your post and respect it.

my personal belief is that,

A. you shouldn't be poaching in the first place.

B. when your shooting to "feed your family" you dont shoot a 10pt trophy buck

i sent him a pm because i thought it would help him. if i started a thread like his, i wouldnt want people to look at my name that way.

i know there are plenty of people on here that have and will agree with the fact that he has upset them.

obviously he took offense, when i meant none, and started this thread with a goal for people to get mad at me for trying to help him so that my name will also, like his, be looked at in a negative light.

I didnt see in his post where he mentioned your name or detalis of the PM. Seems if he wanted to ruin your name he would have done so.

I am sure he got the hint that many didnt agree with his actions in the posts of the original poaching thread.

Just because seeing his name on this site angers you I do not see where you can ask him to stay away. Simply dont read his posts or threads.........

If I wanted to see only post that agree/back up my opinion, I would only read my posts. As said above, alot of people get on each others nerves but it a PUBLIC forum. Gonna happen. They didn't handle things well. Let's just drop it and hunt. Kinda silly IMO to bring all the drama up when most of us will never meet face to face. Maybe that's why it's here????

Not so sure what got everyones feather ruffled about the poaching thread in the first place. I could only make it through the first five pages of the dumbarse respones. All I saw was a bunch of high and mighty judges spouting off to blackhawk. No one was there and no one here knows what happened. I swear...some of you guys hold a whitetail deer on a pedestal higher than human life. I've seen more of you bitch about an illegal deer kill than an innocent kid getting murdered by a child predator. Some of you guys need to get your priorities straight.

I am sure that many more on here have had info on a poaching and have not turned them in. Probalbly some that have bashed Blackhawk.

+1. I see a lot of different opinions on this forum, and I sometimes disagree with some of the posters. I don't get worked up over it, though. First, everyone is entitled to their opinion. You'd think that with a conservative audience like this, at least that much could be agreed upon. I thought the Libs were supposed to be the intolerant ones. ;) Second, as you said, most of us have never met (and never will meet) face to face...so who really cares if they disagree with us in the end?

A lot of angst over nothing IMO.

Seen the post of the poaching, didnt agree with the outcome, didnt see much else, dont care to. Arrogance and bad choices set alot of people on the wrong side of the mules hoof, dont be the one that gets education by taking a shot in the "mid-section" to relieve someone else's "pain". No question you have ethics or you wouldnt have posted the original, stand true to those, back them up! Friends are freinds, no doubt, but ask yourself the question...."why would I even have posted that if I felt it was "right". Are you making everyone "mad", no, I dont belive so, but what you are doing by your last post is making everyone "concerened" as to your ethics when you already know what is right.Your a intelligent guy, we can see that, but your lack of common sense have people judging you, right or wrong. I dont judge anyone, I leave that to God, it is up to the person to decide if they can live with the desicion or not.

i like these guys. blackhawk u are welcome in my book along with everybody else. I have nothing against you. And i would hope that people would give their oppinion about something i posted wether i agreed or not. i like reading and taking in what other people said. i have learned alot about hunting from all you guys on this site that voice your oppinion about something which i greatly appreciate. Now like everybody else said lets just drop it and move on.
