Real Antlers vs Rattle Bag

What is the most effective way to rattle in deer?

Bag or Real antlers? or fake antlers

The real thing is always best.

I have used both and had luck with both but I always go back to the real thing

Take the spam elsewhere, Bobby.

I like antlers. My son likes the rattlebag, and we both have equal success.

For sound, you gotta go with the real thing. For ease of transport and not accidently smashing one of your fingers, the rattle bag is great. I have both, but usually carry the bag since it has worked for me and is far easier to carry. I had a pair of real antlers hanging on a limb one morning and spooked the buck of a lifetime when my bow accidently bumped them.

I just bought the new Rattle pack from Knight and Hale. Haven't had the opportunity to use it quite yet but practicing with it at home, it sounds just like the real deal!! I would have never guessed. I'm a sucker for a new gadget or gimic every year. My wife just shakes her head and rolls her eyes at me LOL!!! Anyways, can't wait to give it a whirl out in the deer woods.

Bags work as well as the real thing simply because all real antlers sound a little different from one another.

I have always used real antlers because I have never found a rattle bag that sounded like the real thing. But, I came across a product out of Iowa called the rattle box and it sounds awesome!
