Mathews won't be out priced

You didn't think Mathews would let Hoyt be the most expensive bow on the market for two years in a row did you? Introducing the Mathews Safari with a suggested retail of $2100.00.

If you want bees with your hive you gotta pay extra.

At least they are figuring out how to make a proper grip.

Oops, I didn't see the other thread about the safari. Oh well.... here's another one.

It definetly looks cool, but in the game of "top this" when it comes to prices I will just remain nuetral.

Why is it so much? Looks like a regular monster to me.

They probably won't have limb issues, though.

I will have to admit that this was the first time that I visited the site. I see how you can select various models to compare the specs but I could not find any specs on this bow. In the link, Mathews took 3 paragraphs to rant over the honeycomb design. To me, I am not interested in the riser. Show me how it performs and then maybe I will be impressed. Sorry, just pissed that I saw a picture of a bow but no performance data.

From the kings of the marketing world,I assure you it is by design.:happy0157:

We are talking about it,that's what they wanted.

The specs will be out when the bow is officially released with the rest of the 11' lineup. I am guessing it will be available in 80lb draw, and its probaly the 5" brace height model. So the speeds should be 360+ and with the new riser its probaly lighter then the current monster lineup.

But with the unique cams and riser in honeycomb this pic will get the general bow population buzzing even before the full 11' lineup is announced. I hope they put the new honeycomb design into their hunting rig because personally I think it looks good.

Also, what "limb issues" are you referring to when it comes to the monster line?

You can bank on that.

If it's made by Mathews, it's going to have limb issues. Sorry Mathews fans.

I saw the name, the price and I knew

that I haven't handled one in the last twenty years.

In fact, I haven't done archery in the past twenty years and spent that much money on bows. :party0005:
