Average shooting distance
 
I wanted this to be a poll but figured this will work just as good.

What is your average shooting distance?(Yards)

A) 10-19
B) 20-39
C) 40-59
D) 60+

Practice - up to 50 yards
Hunting - around 20 yards

Most hunting shots are under 20yds as I try to set stands as close to20 as possible. but shoot 3d out to 45-50. would never shoot at live game at more than 30.

hunt under 30, unless there is a monster standing under 40

I' ll practice seriously out to 50-60 yards to re-establish good form(sometimes 80-90 for giggles and to really test that form)Plus shoot a bunch of 3D
When the season rolls around and much more treestand practicing occurs , the bulk of the shooting is 40yds and under, with the majority of that being 30 and under.

All that long range stuff aside I have keeping track of my " Average" shot distance on Whitetails, and its somewhere around 13.5 yards. so I fall into " Group A" for actual shot average.
