My wife has one and it is a great shooter for her. She shoots it at 54 pounds and 26 inch draw and is getting 254 fps with a 335 grain arrow. She shoots this bow better than anything she' s had in 19 years. If you are a short draw shooter, you should try one:D

Has he looked at the Blackhawk? Another great Bowtech bow.

I shoot a Tech29. Very quiet, and I enjoyed shooting it. Course, I have a short draw, so it could be different for a long draw person.

A real nice compact treestand bow for someone with a shorter draw length.......the brace height isn' t as high as some of the other offerings, and it won' t be quite as dead in the hand as the VFT models but its quick and quiet and as manueverable as it gets in a treestand or groundblind. If he finds the Tech29 a little " Too Compact" then have him check out the Mighty Mite, not much difference in speed , but a 7+" brace height and a little more ATA length. Even at my 30" draw length it was comfortable to shoot and a sweet bow to hunt with.
