Rage 40 ke.

Anyone use these with a higher draw weight. I just bought some for this season, are they any good? I shoot 61 pounds but i figure i would get more penetration with the smaller cutting diameter. Any one shot a deer with these? I've shot the 2 inch diameter but they didn't penetrate as much as i would like. Sure laid the smack down though. I'm hoping for a pass through with these. The claim better penetration, but im hoping to hear it from one of you guys, as i dont trust advertisements.

Curious to see the answers to this myself. I love the hole the 2"ers put in but didn't get the penetration I thought I would.

Shot 2 deer with them last season. Both complete pass throughs at 20yds. I shoot 60#. I was satisfied enough to use them again this season.

Both me and my dad shot these last year and they worked great. My dad is shooting ~63lbs and got a complete past through on a quartering away shot at ~18 yards, I'm shooting 70lbs and got a complete past through on broadside shot at ~9 yards. This year my dad will be shooting those again, I'm going to give the 2in ones a try this year.

I guarantee they will give more penetration. A simple concept really as there is less surface area to cause drag and slow the area.

I usually have high KE setups so I went with the 2" last year and they were awesome! Im trying out the bloodrunner 2 blades this year though just for the heck of it.

i shot the 2in and had both pass trough 25 and 27 yd shots pulling 70lbs

Thanks for the replies guys, I should be set with my setup. This years new bows gonna be a 60-70. 60 pounds is like nothing for me anymore. It was at first though going from my 40-50 pound hoyt. Still love that bow. The turkeys don't though.....

Ive shot the 2" for the past couple years, one kill around 22 yards with complete pass-through, the other around 32 yards that didn't pass completely through, but it was a terrible shot...but still enough to bring it down. Im still going to use the 2" this year.

I've used the 2" for a couple of years and have yet to get a complete pass through. It usually goes in about half to two thirds the way in the deer. And I shoot a 28 inch arrow. I do use aluminum though. So I don't know if that is why. They were from about 30 yards though too.

I have wondered about the KE's. I was thinking about getting them for my wife, who shoots a lower poundage.
