75GR MUZZY OR 85GR THUNDERHEAD?

Im shooting 60# cam1/2 [mt sport] carbon arrow 27' 286gr without broadhead,
dont really want to shoot 100gr head with this set up to front heavy [could be wrong]. Thinking of 75gr muzzy or 85gr thunderhead, which would be a better
head wieght wise for this set up? My draw is set at 281/2 dont know the speed
of arrow yet.

THANKS

Both those heads are very good heads and I have used both with great success.

if you have vanes the 100grner will be a perfect setup IMO

If you have feathers either weight will work very well.

I think your FOC will be right on.

The only problem I see is big 5" vanes and the 75 grn head - FOC " might" be a litttle low

RACK-ATTACK

I will take your word as gospel I know you shoot lighter heads alot and Ive
seen the pictures of your deer. I think I will go with the muzzys, I shoot 37/8
vanes. THANKS

jag: I' d go here http://www.bowjackson.com/ and check your foc for yourself. You just hunting Wisconsin whitetails? Or anything else? Might pay to check before you drop the 30 bucks on a six pack.[8D]

I haven' t used the thunderheads but have used the muzzy 75' s....I really like how well built the muzzys are and they fly like darts...i shot them on 2514' s with 4 fletch feathers and they flew great..

I have not tested the 75grn muzzys, but I fully exspect them to preform every bit as well as the bigger heads. The 85 grn thunders are also and excellent head, but I will admit to being a " Muzzy man" myself. Provided your Foc is right and your bow is tuned both heads will serve you well and I don' t think either way you go will be a bad choice.

I' ve hunted with thunderheads since I been bow hunting and never had a problem with them. I was turned on to them by my father, and still use them. I have never used Muzzy' s though or any other broadhead since the Thunders were so affective.
