Reason I asked is I shot one the other day. I love my MQ1, but that Black Max II was harsh from the time I hooked the string, till I heard the arrow hit. Very short brace, harsh draw, and felt recoil wouldn' t be my choice for a hunting bow. It was fast tho.

My Matthews target bow is a Conquest 2 in rootbeer color, and my Matthews hunting bow is a Q2XL. Both are great for all uses, and I like the LX for 3-D but dont have one. I also just got a new AR for hunting and think it is going to be a great hunting bow also.

I am still shooting a Z-Max from 97 love it I would like to get the legacy or Q2 next season if I have any money left after closing on a house I am buying but I guess what ever works for you is the best bow
