it all depends on the area your hunting. and im sure you can find stands under 120. infact i know you can find sticks and a stand for 70
but there hang on stands and those scar me

I have never paid more than 75.00 for any of my ladder stands. Bass Pro will have one for that price during thier fall hunting sale...
agreed you can get ladder stands very cheap. there are like six that are over 15 ft on sportsmans guide

milehighstands check these out
We met a guy last year from Minnesota that makes stands, he calls them Mile High Stands and I think he is just north of the twin cities. I dont know if you are looking for the "cheapest" stand, but if you are looking for quality stands at a fair price, I would check them out. He made us 4 ladder stands and even 2 enclosed stands for rifle season, and I have never felt more safe and secure. Thanks Steve for making a quality product that I know will be around for several years.
Best of luck to all, and please stay safe this hunting season. |
I like useing a ladder stand over a ground blind. I have found I like being able to see all around me, and it is hard to do that from a ground blind.
i agree 100% BD but theres not always the tree to use a ladder stand so you need a ground blind, for example i hunt an apple orchard and i obviously cannot put a stand in there and its perrfect for a blind
I like to use a brush blind whenever I can, but if I can't I will use a ladder stand. Cause I'm older than dirt!

I love my lock ons. I have a truck bed full of stands and sticks right now that I am slowly chipping away at hanging. I am hopin to be able to shoot a deer out of a blind this year tho
