question about Rage 40KE
 

On the package it says to use on shorter draw, lower poundage bows. What will happen if I use in my bow with a 31" draw set at 70 lbs?

The blades may deploy upon release with the higher poundage draw. Just my guess

It would probably open in flight, I tend to veer away from rage broadheads. Suggest you do aswell.

Nothing, the cutting diameter is 1.5 as compared to the 2" version. You will be fine if you decide to use them.

they recommend them for lower KE bows, but if you use a higher KE bow like the one you mentioned, which is probably making over 60 KE you will get better penetration and more pass-thru's.


Spark notes: you should be fine using them, better penetration, more pass thru's

You'll just get a smaller hole in the animal.

They just have less cutting diameter is all. Everything else is the same as the regular Rage and they work just like the original.
