Broadheads for low poundage/short draw
My son started shooting last year and while he shoots very well he still only pulls 37# @ a 21" draw. Last year I could only get my hands on mech. bh's in 85 grains. What would be the best type bh at low grain wt.

75 grain muzzys. they work greatt!!!!

COC heads,Magnus Stingers would be a great choice.

Dunno the regs in your state, but 37 lb draw is not legal to hunt deer with here. Stress shot placement, don't hit the shoulder.

Bow-and-arrow hunting is limited to longbows and recurved bows may be used for taking bear, deer, wild boar or wild turkey.having a minimum pull of 40 pounds; compound bows with a minimum pull of 35 pounds. Stay away from the mechanicals! Any fixed blade of 75 gr. Would do the trick! Good luck to your boy!

Slick Trick Razor Tricks work awesome where you have lower KE or need more penetration.

Thanks guys, 85 grains are hard to find around here. BTW I've got him up to 40#'s after the first day of shooting... Not bad for the fact that he only weights 65#'s. "Wish I could draw 60% of my body"

Magus 2 blade. I am so amazed how they cut thru an animal. I shoot 155fps with a 470gr cedar arrow with them.

Muzzy MX phantoms come in a 75 grain now
